This is a small town style diner, but they do have a banquet room in back for large groups with advanced reservation.
Agree with Bill. Unless you want the fritter to yourself 😉
You would have to call them and ask
Scone was very good. Fast Service, but overall environment of service was mediocre. Would like to come back some day for full meal.
Don't really understand the hype. It's pretty average food at best. There are other breakfast fixes that are much more satisfying.
I have only been here for breakfast, so take my 5 star review with a grain of salt...or sugar. Service was fantastic. I have been here a handful of times, and figured it is time to leave a review. Quick, good food, with great customer service. They do not take American Express however, just a heads up. Was not a problem for me but may be one for you. Scones are something everyone loves, a bit too much for me, but I am not a huge scone fan. They make their scone dough, and pancakes with a cake batter mix that is unique and delicious. I don't think you will be disappointed!
A stay in kaysville is not complete without eating breakfast at Granny Annie’s. Be warned, serving sizes are bigger than most other diners but everything is delicious! Scones are the most popular but I’d also recommend getting a sweet roll and hot chocolate
Had a nice experience. Lots of food for the money. Down home country atmosphere.
Got the Woodsman because it seemed like the most food. Cheesy scrambled eggs were sad. It was just a solid flat egg round with a slice of American plopped in the middle, BUT the hash browns with Sos gravy were great! Huge portions too. Bacon was thick, crispy and full sized. The scones! I had never had a scone, they are hit huge fluffy and delicious with their honey butter. Costs just under 10$ for that big meal.
Surprisingly clean on the inside, ok breakfast. Outside of the building definitely needs work, almost didn’t go in based off of assumptions. I do see myself coming back if I am ever near and hungry again.
They make a great scone, just like my mom used to make! The other food is good, but they only use American cheese in their omelets and eggs. Why? That's just gross. Please consider using real cheese.
Overall I would give this place three stars. They’re definitely glimpses of greatness and some five star meals. The French toast was great as well as the scones or obviously fantastic as many people have said. The scrambled eggs were definitely weak and appear to be made out of liquid eggs. Don’t get them! They are cinnamon roll or sweet roll was extremely dry and simply quite awful. Omelette are solid choice! It’s hard with breakfast food to control grease but it’s probably time to get a better floor or doDeep cleaning once a quarter. I will come back for sure.
Great food with low prices. Great atmosphere especially for families and seniors. New owner Jason is very nice.
Wonderful food and service was fast
Scones! That’s all you need to order! The other food is good, it’s traditional diner style and has some good and not so good stuff depending on your preferences. However, you can make a meal off the scones and leave a very happy person!
Nice staff. Probably the best waffle I've had in a long time. Not the cleanest place but worth the hassle for the food. Don't go on holidays. It gets real busy.
The service was excellent. The price was good. The food was brought out quickly and was delicious. I will definitely be eating here again!
Not much to say about this place except that it rocks! Love their breakfast menu and their scones are super good. Prices aren't bad either. Can't go wrong.
Great home style food. Their French Toast, omelets and scones are fantastic. The waitresses are fast and friendly. Always a great meal and a great experience!
Good food, great service and priced right. Highly recommend.
I've only ate here once so I can't give it a 5 star rating yet, but the food was great as well as the service. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
Talk about a great resturant my mom and I stopped in for breakfast and were so surprised at how busy it was. Once getting a seat the waitress was right there to take our order. At first we were a little hesitant at the what seemed like immediate delivery of our food. We thought for sure it was going to be cold or of poor quality.... NO it was hot fresh and delicious. And there strawberry fritter was fabulous
Great homey family diner. Breakfast and scones with honey butter all day!
Took the family while in town. The kids were able to have breakfast and lunch items. The waffle with berries was delicious. The food came out of the kitchen exceptionally quickly.
Great home town style cafe with friendly staff and the liver was excellent surprisingly enough. fed 2 for $26 not bad at all =)
Never again!!!! The staff here are unorganized and work in chaos. They have you write your own name on a list but place no time. Your party WILL NOT be seated in the order you come. Especially if you have a party over 4. Our party waited over 50 minutes while people who walked right in the door were seated immediately. They kept saying our party needed 4 tables, (we had 6 adults, 6 children) but they wouldn’t save tables... another server would fill them and we would be left waiting. In the end, our party ended up on a regular table and they brought out an extender. (Where was that 30 minutes ago) No apology no remorse. The food comes out fast, but is nothing special. With so many breakfast places around, I’d save your time and go dine somewhere else!
Such a great little place. Went here for our first time today and definitely will be back, if you're looking for a homemade meal and great service this is your place. Get a scone with honey butter you won't regret it!
Was able to have a booth right away. Service was prompt, food was great. I had the biscuits and gravy. Best I have ever had.
It was awesome! Small town feel, and a really good cheeseburger. The scones and honey butter are worth adding to your order as well, they are delicious!
When we first got there we were not shown to a table. And there was no sign saying to seat ourselves or to wait to be seated. Instead a lady came up to us and asked if we had a table. We politely told her no. And she walked away. About 10 minutes later we were finally seated. The diner was not busy. We ordered and it took about 15 minutes to get our food. I had ordered the fruit waffle. Had I known that it would have been a waffled topped with a sickeningly sweet "fruit" syrup, I would not have ordered it. We were unimpressed by the biscuits and gravy. As for the french toast, there's not much to say, since there wasn't much to taste. We also ordered a scone, which was alright. We have had more pleasant experiences in the past, and this was not one of them.
Went to Granny Annie's today for the first time with a friend and got the Woodsman breakfast (4 strips of bacon, hashbrowns with sos gravy, scrambled eggs with cheese, and a huge scone). I was a little surprised that the cheese on the eggs was a cheese slice instead of shredded but it was not a deal breaker. The hashbrowns with sos gravy was very tasty and you can't go wrong with bacon but the plate sized scone with honey butter really set the meal appart. They were very busy but we still got right in and our order came to our table super quick. Definitely planning on returning to this unique dinner.
Food full of flavor with friendly attentive staff. Location is often busy but the staff are quick.
Annie Curry is one amazing woman and great chef and owner. Very good down to earth food. I always get a bacon cheeseburger with tots and love it!!! Stop by you'll thank yourself!
Granny Annie wouldn't be proud that her name's being run in the ground, nor would she be happy with the service that you're providing. We were never greeted or acknowledged by the front desk staff. We waited at the front since the sign said "Please wait to be seated". After almost 15 minutes masses of disrespectful and rude teenagers decided to seat themselves and skip the line, as well "regulars" who just walked right in and sat down in front us. Finally we were seated by a server at a dirty table, after she cleaned it we waited another 10 minutes and decided to leave based upon the lack of cleanliness, minimal staffing, and rude behavior. This place was a disaster, and needs some help. I truly hope management or the lack of reads this post. We went to Black Bear Diner for a much better experience.
Delicious chicken fried steak. Service was friendly and quick. We were sat quickly, only about a five minute wait. Food was served quickly as well. No complaints other than the hash browns were not very good.
BEST home-cooked food in the state! Just like food served at your own Granny's table. (Assuming yours is/was an EXCELLENT cook, and grew up in the south!)
We love the great service and tasty food. We have only experienced breakfast here and it's often a busy place but worth the wait. Make sure to try one of their scones!
Great food, decent price. Very beautiful waitresses and a great laid back environment. The waitress seemed a bit pre occupied but overall pleasant experience. Will definitely return.
The food is always worth the wait on busy days. I love coming with family. The interior is decorated like a 50's diner. NEVER leave without a scone, it's the best part of coming here.
Friendly, home town feel. Good food. Great servers
Tried this spot already with a friend and I am obsessed ever since. I like the fantastic character and delicious dishes and beverages. Highly recommended.
Home style, comfort food. The giant scones are to die for! Friendly service. Super comfortable, clean, terrific food! Can’t ask for much better than this! We eat here often and it’s always delicious!
The staff at Granny Annie's is always delightful. We enjoy going there from time to time. If you are looking for a cozy place for breakfast lunch or dinner this is a great place to do it. This is also a great place to recommend for friends or family, that may be coming from out of town, and may end up being something they look forward to in the future.
I hate to be a stick in the mud but when I leave a restaurant and think to myself that I'd have been better off going to McDonald's, I can't help it. Nothing was particularly terrible, but nothing, and I mean nothing, was good. The best part was how quickly the food came after we ordered, but it was also bad because my hash browns could definitely have used more time on the grill. Hash browns are not just chopped up cooked potatoes! They have to be crispy!
Great food. Allergy friendly. I am allergic to eggs and soy and they did a way to stuff my stomach!
Very well organised and accessible restaurant. They offer generous meals and for inexpensive rates. We liked the meals a lot and the waiters were super attentive and chatty. Highly recommended.
The food is great and so is the service. Just keep in mind that you will be waiting awhile to be seated. But it was worth the wait. Excellent breakfast, especially the scones!
Service was friendly and efficient, food was excellent! Best pancakes I've had lately. Good prices, nice clean restaurant. A hearty 2 thumbs up! 👍👍
Great home style cooking at reasonable prices and the staff is great. Articulate and charismatic, engaging and witty. Our server was not only fun, but she was very attentive. Always a nice experience at Granny Annie's.
I always love coming here. They have good service, a little slow when they are busy, and amazing food. I always have their German toast, French toast dipped in pancake batter, it's amazing. Their scones are the best thing they have. If you go to Grannie Annie's you have to have a scone! They're huge, and come with honey butter, with syrup and jelly at your table. 5 stars every time I've been here.
I wish I could say I loved this place because I love greasy spoon diners. Unfortunately, this restaurant left me disappointed. The butter on our toast tasted like cleaning fluid and my Denver omelette was almost pure onion in the middle. I understand they were having plumbing problems the day we went and didn't have the full menu available, so maybe the service/food that day was suffering as a fluke. I've had far worse, and their coffee is decent, so I've given them 3 stars instead of less.
To be honest this place didn't impress me when it came to food. We've yet to find a good breakfast restaurant in the area. I'll give them a five star on their customer service. Our waitress was amazing. The cashier isn't too much into jokes (teenagers).
Awesome place to eat at. Great atmosphere better people.
